Julia Koets, Lisa Summe, and Madeleine Wattenberg: A Reading at the University of Cincinnati
Join us on Friday, April 9th at 7pm EST in the Virtual Elliston Poetry Room to experience new work from these three dynamic, innovative writers.

JULIA KOETS is the author of PINE, The Rib Joint: A Memoir in Essays, and Hold Like Owls. She earned her M.F.A. at the University of South Carolina and her Ph.D. in Creative Writing and Literature at the University of Cincinnati. She is an assistant professor of nonfiction at University of South Florida.

LISA SUMME is the author of Say It Hurts (YesYes Books, 2021). She earned a BA and MA in literature at the University of Cincinnati, and an MFA in poetry from Virginia Tech. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Bat City Review, Cincinnati Review, Muzzle, Salt Hill, Verse Daily, West Branch, and elsewhere. MADELEINE WATTENBERG'S work has appeared in journals such as Salamander Magazine, The Rumpus, Puerto del Sol, sixth finch, DIAGRAM, and Best New Poets. She is the author of I/O (University of Arkansas Press 2021) and a PhD candidate at the University of Cincinnati. She also serves as Associate Editor for the Cincinnati Review.
